Final Project Work Day: Update for Friday, 30 March 2012

Today was the final in-class chance to work on your Individualized Project.

The Easter Long Weekend will cause us to miss our class session on Friday, 6 April, so the task will now be due on Friday, 13 April 2012.  Please be fully prepared to present your finished work to your Challenge Pullout classmates on that day.  As per your requests, I will have a digital projector in the room to show PowerPoint slideshows and what not.

I look forward to seeing the fruits of your many weeks of labour.

Project Work Continues: Update for Friday, 2 & 9 March 2012

In light of the fact that we were facing a possible disruption to our schedule on the final Friday before Spring Break, we decided to extend the due date of the task by one week.  Your task is now due on Friday, 6 April 2012.

Today’s block A Challenge Class was cancelled due to the school-wide assembly for the Grade 8 Public Speaking Festival.

In block B, student worked in the library on their projects.  All appeared to make good progress.  Please remember that the final due date for this task is Friday, 30 March 2012.

Now that the Individualized Project is in full swing, I’m setting aside class time for you to work on your task.  To this point, the progress has been very good.

Please remember that your completed task is due on Friday, 30 March – the first Friday back to school after Spring Break.

There’s no session on Friday, 17 February due to a Pro-D Day.  I’ll see you all again on Friday, 24 February.

Today was an opportunity to finalize your project proposal and to get started researching, writing, or engaging in whatever process necessary to get the project ball rolling.

After some thought, we set the due date for this task as Friday, 30 March 2012 – the first Friday back to school after Spring Break.
